Together, we’ll explore how the experience, expertise and stories we’ve gathered can become a source of purpose, influence and lasting impact.
Session 1: SIGNIFICANCE
Significance is about more than recognition or achievement. It is the difference our work makes, the meaning we create for others, and the legacy we shape through the choices we make. In this session, we’ll explore what significance means in our own lives and leadership, how it differs from success, and what might shift when we begin to measure our impact by the value we create for others.
Lucy McCarraher MBE has written 14 books (three fiction, eleven non-fiction), mentored over 1,000 entrepreneurs and founded a multi-award-winning tech company.
As Chair of Forbes Books UK, Lucy stands at the absolute forefront of independent publishing, helping business leaders, experts, and innovators translate their hard-earned experience into industry-shaping legacies.
A powerhouse mentor and educator, Lucy holds a Post-graduate Diploma (DTLLS) in teaching Creative Writing and Adult Literacy, serves as the Global Publish Mentor for Daniel Priestley & Dent Global’s Key Person of Influence programme, and founded the prestigious Business Book Awards.
Beyond the executive sphere, she is deeply committed to empowering voices, authoring A Book of One's Own (a manifesto for women making a difference), leading the Mission Mastermind and Mission Magic communities, and hosting The Phoenix Conversations podcast, where she explores second chances, bold new chapters, and personal transformation.
